Autorka spracovala diplomovú prácu na tému: Kvalita života rodičov detí s diabetes mellitus 1. typu. Cieľom diplomovej práce je zhrnúť všeobecné teoretické poznatky o diabetes mellitus 1. typu u detí a zistiť jeho vplyv na kvalitu života rodičov.Diplomová práca je rozdelená na 5 kapitol. V prvej kapitole autorka prináša pohľad na súčasný stav danej problematiky. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na vznik a vývoj diabetu. V tretej kapitole autorka poukazuje na problematiku vplyvu diabetu na rodinu a na sociálnu rehabilitáciu rodiny. V ďalšej kapitole autorka stručne popisuje problematiku vplyvu sestry na kvality života rodičov.Posledná kapitola je venovaná praktickej časti diplomovej práce, kde je spracovaný a vyhodnotený prieskum. Cieľom prieskumu bolo zistiť vplyv diabetes mellitus 1. typu detí na kvalitu života rodičov.Ako metódu získania údajov použila autorka štandardizovaný dotazník merania kvality života rodičov detí s diabetes mellitus 1. Typu. (Questionnaire for Parents of Children and Adolesscents), ktorým zisťovala subjektívne vnímanie kvality života rodičov, vplyv ochorenia na rodičov a problémové oblasti v živote, ktoré najviac znepokojujú rodičov. Výskumný súbor tvorilo 116 rodičov detí s diabetes mellitus 1. typu. Identifikácia kvality života rodičov s dieťaťom diabetes mellitus 1. typu, môže byť východiskom pre naplánovanie edukácie detí a rodičov.Výsledky prieskumu sú vyhodnotené prehľadne v tabuľkách a grafoch. V závere prieskumnej časti je uvádzaná diskusia k výsledkom prieskumu a odporúčania pre prax.Autorka pri spracovaní diplomovej práce použila 34 literárnych prameňov, ktoré boli citované v zmysle platnej normy STN ISO 690.
The author worked on a thesis topic: The quality of life in parents of children with diabetes mellitus 1. type . The first chapter is to summarize the general theoretical knowledge of type 1 diabetes in children and determine its impact on the quality of life of parents. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The theoretical part of the first chapter the author provides insight into the current status of the issue. The second chapter focuses on the emergence and development of diabetes. In the third chapter the author points to the issue of the impact of diabetes on the family, the social rehabilitation of families and the education of the family. In the next chapter the author briefly discusses the issue quality of life. The practical part is processing and evaluation research. The aim of the survey was to investigate the effects of type 1 diabetes, children on parents' quality of life. As a method of obtaining data used author standardized questionnaire measuring quality of life of parents of children with Type 1 DM (Questionnaire for Parents of Children and Adolesscents). The sample consisted of 116 parents of children with type 1 diabetes. Identification of the quality of life of parents with a child type 1 diabetes, may be starting to plan the education of children and parents, which should affect emotionally coping with changing attitudes and actions in connection with the disease. Survey results are evaluated clearly in tables and graphs. At the end of the survey it is referred to discussion of the results of the survey and recommendations for practice. The author of the processing diploma thesis has used 34 literary sources that were cited in terms of the valid STN ISO 690.
